St. Finian’s National School was opened on the 1st May 1916 replacing the previous mud walled building which was situated nearby to the north west. Click here to read more about our School History.

St. Finian’s N.S., Killyon is a South-Meath based, multi-class school serving a rural community.
We intend that on entering the school everyone will experience a sense of belonging, security and welcome.
We aim to create a broad, creative learning environment where everyone’s talents are developed and needs are fulfilled.
