Each week the children do gardening. Here is what they have achieved this year!

In the month of November the children used ‘Lego we do’ kits to develop their coding skills. The children enjoyed using the stem kits. Good fun was had by all!

Christmas Message 20/12/2019

With Christmas fast approaching we have all been very busy in our school. The children from Junior Infants to 6th Class were rehearsing for their parts in the Nativity and the choir worked very hard to provide some beautiful music on the night.

As well as that, the children have been creating some lovely decorations and various pieces of Art to add to their homes for the Christmas Season. Below are some samples of work created in each class throughout the school.

At this time of year it is very easy for us all to get caught up in the materialistic side of Christmas. It is nice to slow down, take some time to spend with your families and remember the true meaning of Christmas. From all of the Staff here at Killyon NS, we wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
